Sensitive Stomach Diet


Usually well tolerated: (although some people only tolerate wheat) Soluble fiber: oats, berries, Cooked lentils, legumes carrots, potatoes, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, papaya, mango, kiwi Nonfat Yogurt Fish, shrimp Rice, pasta, couscous, noodles Egg white, mashed potatoes Chicken Banana, plantain Corn, rice crispies And chamomile tea Nectarines, apricots Watermelon, honey, cantaloupe Avocado, olive oil Graham crackers Cauliflower and broccoli soup pureed Waffles, pancakes Crackers, rice, crackers, unsalted saltines Stew, tender meat Small pieces of brick and carrots, celery with rice, pasta or couscous


Eat with care: Lactose (milk, ice cream) Citrus "Diet" sugar-free products Alcohol Grapes Chocolate Raw broccoli Raw cauliflower Cabbage Cole slaw Cold cuts Iceberg lettuce Popcorn Dairy Caffeine Tomatoes


Avoid: Crude fiber (the eggplant skin, Peppers. Cucumber) MSG, fats, fried foods Large seeds Walnuts, carbonated The skin of the potatoes, garlic, onions Corn syrup with a high content of fructose Sorbitol, artificial sugar substitutes Snapple, Gatorade


Well chew and eat slowly. Eat frequent small meals. Do not eat four hours before bedtime. Drink 4-6 glasses of fluid per day.
